Should I bring my laptop to your training events?

  • Not necessarily, although many attendees bring laptops so they can follow along during the session(s). While we will always do our best to provide outlets and Internet access for as many people as possible, we cannot guarantee either for everyone.
  • If you do choose to bring a laptop, please understand that you are solely responsible for it, including hardware and software. eVolve, its vendors and contractors cannot be held responsible in any way, at any time, for attendee or client possessions, including laptops, regardless of circumstance.

My employer prefers to pay by check. Can I do this?

  • Yes, you can register for the event and choose “Check” as the payment method. Please note, however, that full payment is due no less than 14 days prior to each event. If a registration is received within 14 days of the event, payment is due immediately.

I prefer not to register online. What are my options?

  • You are welcome to register via phone as well. Please just call us at 1-866-523-1945

What is the cancellation/transfer/reschedule policy for events?

  • All cancellations, including transfers, must be received in writing, preferably via email, to be considered valid. If a registration is cancelled in writing between 15 and 30 days prior to the start of an event, 50% of the registration is refundable. If a registration is cancelled in writing less than 15 days before the start of an event, the registration is not eligible for a refund or credit. Registrations can, however, be transferred in writing to a different person up until 72 hours prior to the start of an event.

Are accommodations included in the registration price?

  • No. All travel and hotel reservations must be booked directly by the attendee, separately from event registration. For some events, discounted hotel rates may be available for attendees.

Do I need to bring anything to class?

  • No, all you need to do is show up. Our training lab is fully equipped, and you will be assigned your own computer station to use throughout class. We also provide hand-outs, pens and CDs.

My employer prefers to pay by check. Can I do this?

  • Yes, you can register online and choose “Check” as the payment method. Please note, however, that full payment is due no less than 7 days prior to the start of the class. If a registration is received within 7 days of the class, payment is due immediately.

I’m not sure which class I need to take. Can you help me figure that out?

  • Yes, please feel free to contact us if you’re unsure which class is best for you. We also recommend reading through the online class content outlines as well as the class descriptions that are included on each class page.

I prefer to work on my own laptop. Can I use it during class?

  • We prefer that you use one of the computer stations in our training lab, but you can bring your own laptop instead, provided you own the necessary software and the laptop can handle the program(s), which generally do require newer/faster hardware to function properly. Regardless of circumstance, however, eVolve cannot be responsible for your hardware, software and/or class files provided to you.

What if I need to cancel/reschedule/transfer my registration?

What if I have a question after class?

  • Our students can email post-class questions to support@evolveseattle.com We are happy to assist you with any questions that relate to classes you have already taken with us. While we always try to respond in a timely manner (typically within 48hrs), we cannot guarantee an immediate reply.

I heard that I can re-take classes for six months. How does this work?

  • Please visit our Policies page to learn about our audit program for past students.

How does corporate training work? Can you come to our location?

  • Corporate training can take place at your location, or ours. Our trainers travel to client locations around the country to work with groups in multiple industries using a wide variety of technologies. For all corporate training programs, we create a customized curriculum to meet your group’s specific needs. For more information, please visit our Corporate Training page, or just contact us and we’ll gladly guide you through the process.

I have a team of people who need training. How much does it cost?

  • Corporate training is priced separately, by project, based on the number of people in the group, the number of days of training, etc. Feel free to email or call us to discuss your team’s needs, or just complete our online form. Once we have information about your team’s current skills and learning goals, we’ll send you a proposal that includes an estimate for your project.

Do you provide corporate training via the web?

  • Yes, we provide web-based corporate training for groups of all sizes. Please contact us for additional information.
